    Its a weird day when my sister is the one trying to get me to upgrade on the gadgets

    KsiU1: i think since we got the plasma... we don't really need to buy the LCD just yet

  • lol yup i know my electronics. we have 1080p, HD programming and a nice 46" LCD. it makes a huge difference from plasma :D :D

  • It's still up in the air which is better, plasma or LCD.

    However, what I find laughable is people who buy a $3000 tv and use a $100 DVD player with it. Also, I've seen enough tv's so out of whack with the colors that makes me wonder what people brag so much about without calibrating.

    Either way, I'd wait a bit longer for the newer technologies, I think too many people jumped the gun on buying HDTV's.

  • my tv was less than $200 bought 2 years ago as an upgrade to my 19"....  i could care less.  why would i want to see anyone's sweat that closely?! 

    i can turn my computer on...thats about as tech savvy as i need to be!  =P

  • When it comes to electronics, I'm completely clueless. I mean, with the price you pay, there has got to be a difference with HD and watching the superbowl with that should be better.

  • *raises hand*  HD HD HD!!!  once you get HD, you'll see the difference.  i'm on your sister's side on this one.  we bought a panasonic plasma that is HD enabled but it's mainly EDTV.  but even the hd channels on the plasma look sooo soo awesome.

  • yeah, i'm clueless too. and larry keeps talking about updating to HD blahblahblah. i think it's a huge waste of money just to see sweat coming out of their pores when we have a perfectly good tv at home. hahahaha.... what happens when you've turned into your parents and dont wanna waste money and tell people that they've got something perfectly good at home??
