Where did winter go?
I remember experiencing a really warm day one year in like December. It was beautiful. Myself and a bunch of other people were like, "Wow what a beautiful day." And senior said something to us which I still remember: "Winter should feel like winter." He's totally right. NYC winters should feel like NYC winters. I don't enjoy 20 degree weather but that's the price I pay to live here. I think it was low 70's on Saturday. That's not NYC winter weather. My question is if its this warm during the winter... what's summer going to look like? 110 degrees? 120?
Everyone should watch the movie "An Inconvenient Truth". Yes, some of it is political but overall its a movie that reveals things that can deeply impact your life. Like a global flood from melting polar caps.
Do you think we have global warming? Or is it just a trend that will correct itself?

I think it's awesome that we're experiencing 70 degree weather in NYC this year. Nice seeing you on Friday, even though it was for a second. lol =)

i definitely think it's weird to be having 70 degree weather in winter. and yes, i do think we have global warming but i'm hoping that we'll find a way to correct it before it's too late. Mother Nature is only gonna put up with us for so long before she decides to really give it to us. =
it was a scary movie. scarier even to read about an ice shelf breaking off this past week.
for sure it's global warming. i've thought it for YEARS!! i heard on the radio the other day that the native peoples of antartica and alaska will probably need to migrate because it's getter warmer, causing more water, which is sweeping away their land.
my question is: when is God coming back for us?!!

i thikn it was just a fluke. I don't believe we will be affected by global warming during our lifetime.

my friends traded in their tacoma for a hybrid a week after watching "an inconvenient truth" it made me feel sortof guilty about driving an suv but i need the space with all the ministry stuff i do on the weekends. :sigh:
it's 87 in LA today!! i agree winter should be winter (but LA winters not NYC winters, at least for me

i'm not complaining about the weather..i'd take these days over icy below zero frigid days anytime..
but for sure it's global warming...i was reading somewhere that this summer will be one of the worst (hottest summers ever)...=(
yeah that day pissed me off.
speaking for our sweater and outerwear business...i hope its just an el nino inspired trend that will correct itself soon..!!
global warming is here, it's real and it's truly scary.
i.e. polar caps melting, sea levels rising, rising acidity (ph) in sea water... think mass extinction here.
