  • Weekend recap

Is it my imagination or has 2006 been going by reallyyyyy fast?  Its almost June!

I need to blog more.  The word "need" might seem extreme but the way my memory works... it needs to be kick started.  Sometimes when I read my old blogs they make me chuckle or reminisce.  In a sense it slows time for me because when I try to think of what's happened to me this year... I'm drawing mostly a blank.  That's scary when  I think about how fast this year has gone.

Had dinner with Jnet on Friday and then hung out at her place.  Its a mess.  Just like always.  Too many shoes.  I remember when I used to camp out at her apt cuz I didn't want to go all the way back to NJ.

Saturday went on a 40 minute run before dragon boat practice.  This character finally showed up to a practice.  We've been talking about it for like three months.  Had dropped off a friend in Ctown after practice only to have her call me about 6 hours later and ask me to hang out.  By then I had already showered, napped and watched a bit of Van Helsing.  I decided that this weekend would be a low key one.   After I called her out on not showering her friends are like... Ew, you touched my face!  Hahhahahahah.

Sunday and Monday were basically days of feasting.  We always end up with more food than we need.  And with about five people bailing, we ended up with a lot more food than we needed.  From Sunday 1pm to Monday 1pm it was basically 24 hours of eating....except for when I went to bed.  July 1 BBQ is next if anyone's interested.  Some funny moments - my roommate on phone - "Talk dirty to me".  Spend two hours trying to start a fire.  Telling everyone that we didn't have enough food.  Watching Wedding Crashers.  Teachign Jennii how to play poker.  Who brings cornish hens to a bbq?  When in doubt, give it to Dayton's mom.  Nectar of the gods.  Excuse me sir, you're at the wrong bbq...this bbq started at 1pm, not 4pm.  Telling someone to sleep in the basement.  Shared how my neighbor used to drop a fish into his pool, put on a pair of goggles and then tells me he's going to go "Fishing".  Watched X3.

Good company.  Good food.  Good times.
