Five weird habits about me:
1. I'm a cookie/icecream monster. I have very specific cookie preferences tho... I usually like them fresh baked soft... Mrs. Fields are a favorite tho I don't have them very often. I will occasionally have a craving for oreo cookies....once again, not too often cuz when I do decide to eat them it becomes a event with me buying milk and chowing down. I'm a fan of desserts with ice cream, e.g. apple pie with cinnamon ice cream, hot chocolate with vanilla ice cream. Caramel over ice cream. Yum. Yes...I'm a fatty.
2. I have occasional schizophenic tendencies. I'm normally very outgoing but have moments when I don't want to talk or socialize at all. I give and take verbal jabs all the time and usally brush them off but there are times when I'm overly sensitive to what someone says. I must have eaten something with estrogen that day. I think I naturally like balance so when someone's already talkative, I'll be quiet and if a group is very quiet I'll talk a lot. Maybe I'm just mentally ill.... I hate you all....no, no... I love you all.
3. I have a thing for girls with glasses. For some reason any woman who decides to wear a pair of glasses just looks better, cuter, hotter to me. Hubba hubba. That doesn't mean I think all girls who wear glasses are great looking...I just think they look better. Some who sport it well, look a LOT better. At least to me. Now if you add a pretty smile and dimples to go along with the glasses, watch out now! RAWWWR.
4. I can't drink beer. I think its just plain nasty. I'll do shots of tequila or all the mixed drinks you want before I willingly drink a bottle of beer. I think its the carbonation. It makes me want to burp...but when I force myself to burp, I feel food coming up. Yes...I know, very pleasant.
5. I get embarrassed by too many compliments. That doesn't mean I don't like to hear compliments, short ones that is....its just the ones that are really long that embarrass me. At my review, my manager will sing my strengths and weakness'. Honestly, I need to hear both but the praise part of it makes me uncomfortable. My face is frozen in a smile and I"m nodding my head but I will feel sooooo uncomfortable. I think its partially being raised by parents who think even if you do well, you're expected to do well so what do you need praise for? Damn Chinese parents.... j/k, I love my parents.....doh! there's that #2 thing rearing its head.

#1 isn't weird. Weird is if you said you can eat like 3-4 whole packages of Oreos and not feel sick. And that's gross.

ryc: yes, maybe she is being loyal, because most likely now that she has a good rep, she's probably starting to charge more for new clients. while i think that is completely acceptable, i STILL think she should have sent an email saying "hi, i was wondering if we talk about shortening my hours." OR "hi, i have more jobs lined up for me and i was wondering if we could talk about switching hours." OR "hi, would you mind terribly if i started walking your dog less?"
all of which, i would not have been thrilled with....BUT she still should have ASKED. this is not a friend-on-friend relationship. this is a boss-employee relationship. would you go up to your boss and say, "hey, i found something else to do that takes up more of my time therefore i will be cutting my hours in half."
all i'm saying is that she was not professional in her manner. since i'm her boss, she should have discussed it with me before making a decision.
i think that this is a ploy to get people to compliment you more...i mean...u know that ur "friends" will do all the things that u list as things u hate and do it more....

Interesting list. I think some of those apply to me also to some degree. Mostly the first one and the third one. I can drink beer, but I prefer not to if I can help it. I've had a decent amount of it in my lifetime and I just can't bring myself to like it.

hahahhaa... i just saw this hilarious episode of Family Guy last night. they had the Sesame Street Cookie Monster in rehab cuz of his cookie addiction!! in one scene, the orderlys (sp?) are spot checking Cookie Monster's room, and found a plate of cookies underneath his bed....hahahahahha!! reminds me of you!

lol...I dont know why that happens either...where we talk when people are quiet and we quiet down when people talk...
nothing wrong with girls in glasses....makes me think theyre a naughty school teacher and i'm a bad student who needs a lot of detention..hahaha

pujols plays 1B and can't wear arod's jock strap defensively. he's not even close when compared to arod on the basepaths. the question isn't whether arod is overpaid. the question should be whether pujols is underpaid.
we pay to see pujols and arod and we pay WAY more than the $40 mil per year these guys make. WAY more. if u want to measure by comparison, why pick pujols? what about the countless other players who are paid over $5 mil per year to be mediocre?
also, the market decided what arod was worth, just like the market dictates what milk, diamonds, gold, oil and coffee are worth.
$25 mil is fair value for him becuz the market says so.
i always find it interesting how people have different visions of sexy/attractive. hehe. i cream is so very good. go to applebees and have the triple chocolate meltdown. mmm.
the verse came from a study that we did in fellowship, but the original lesson came from beth moore's conference two weekends ago that some of my sisters attended. they came back and retaught the lesson to us.
i just felt like it was very appropriate for me to remind myself of that at the time. and daily.

Hahaha, can't believe you said "hubba hubba." When I was in high school, I'd only put on my glasses if I was in an honors or AP class bc if I can't at least BE smart, I can LOOK it. =P
