I feel like 98% of the girls out there have a requirement about height. And since the majority of the women I know are asian looking for asian guys... they've got a dilemma. I pity the tall asian girl looking for a guy taller than herself. I asked my sister one time what it would take for her to date a guy shorter than herself and she said: "An act of God." A funny sibling I have. The requirement of height is like the ultimate deal breaker for "many" women. With all other things a girl will will be flexible, not as good looking as you want? No problem. Earns a little less money than you? No problem. More corny than witty? No problem? Two inches shorter than you?....Problem!
What is she thinking? Perhaps its the exhausting thought of having to explain to everyone why she's dating this guy despite his height. Maybe its the role reversal where she's the one who has to tilt his head to kiss him. I think the real reason is - shoes. Anything that might put a crimp in a woman's show buying will have her doing the roc-away and leaning back. The thought of having to put down those cute shoes with the heels is unbearable for most women...hahahahha.
Anyway, for us short guys, no need to worry cuz if you have game, you have game. The taller they are, the harder they fall.
My friend Omay started dating someone taller than him... and they're happy. Tho he does have to endure a bit of teasing -

i wouldn't date a shorter guy. Back in college i dated this guy who was mabye 1.5in taller than me, i hardly ever wore heels with him. Yeah I'd feel like the man and insecure in the relationship. Plus it doesn't look good !

Dating a short guy would be weird. All the males in my family are tall; 10+ cousins are at least 5'10. I'm only 5'3, I feel ripped off. My two other female cousins are 5'7 & 5'4~5. My dad is 5'8. I'm use to tall Asian male figures.

haha funny mai line. i'm 5'4 and the shortest guy i dated was like 5'4 and that didn't work out much. i cannot date shorter men or guys that are the same height as me. my minimum is quite low compared to other girls -- 5'7.

*sigh* must i comment on the one topic that has plagued me all my life? ever since elementary school, i've always the tallest girl in class (or at least the second tallest). well, since i'm gargantuas, i don't meet enough men who are taller than me, and if they are, something's always off...hence why i'm still single...and yup, i still wear heels because i like being tall and sticking out...literally. plus i like the "wow, are you a model" comments that i get every so often...*grin*
i'm 5'4 1/2 so it's not a problem finding a guy taller than me. hehe. but i admit, im one of those asshole girls that won't date a guy under 5'10 or about that. I like the feeling of feeling protected and height does give me that feeling. granted, if a guy was 6'2 and he is a huge wimp, id take a brave 5'8 guy any, any day. But i notice i'm usually only attracted to taller ish guys. It's not bc of heels for me, my bf is 5'11 and i still wear sneakers all the time. I just like feeling short and protected by my bf.

Well i'm 5'9 so its really hard to date guys taller than me. Really doesnt matter how tall they are.
I don't mind dating someone the same height as me, but it is a bit strange when they are shorter. Shorter guys (and I mean short because I am 5'2) give me the impression that they are shrimpy, its just not very men like. Like I can push them around, I probably would anyways, but I don't want people to know that.

Well, I'm 5'8, and yes, I've dated guys shorter than me. Like 5'3 short. Why? Because I liked him. I don't wear heels now (despite my bf being 5'10) not cuz of how close we are in height but because I am retarded and can't walk in heels to save my life. But anyway, would I do it again? If I liked the guy (and we were both single), hell yeah. I'm not going to let others dictate my life.

i'm short already, so you could see the dilemma of dating someone even shorter. i am however might be falling for a guy my height, and you don't know how much i'm fighting it. i'm taller with my heels on and sometimes i wonder if that will be the deal breaker.

I once went to a wedding where, the bride is taller than the groom, then I realized the bride was just wearing a 2 inch heels, and she's taller than him, w/o it they are on even level....
